Join the Emerald Isle Parrotheads once again on the Parrothead Bicycle Poker Run on May 16th! Prizes for the top 3 poker hands! Decorate your bike to a Jimmy Buffet song to win a prize! The songs this year are Surfing in a Hurricane, Beach House on the Moon, and Natives are Restless Tonight.
12 Noon – 4PM: Friday Fun Run to Juanna’s Navarre. 7:00 -11 PM: AJ’s Captains Party – Similar format to previous years with possible attendance limitations. SATURDAY: 10AM – 5PM: Emerald Coast Powerboat Poker Run: Sandestin to Pensacola Beach( Checkpoints TBA). The Emerald Isle Parrot Heads are excited to be hosting the 15th Annual Beach Bike Poker Run in beautiful Emerald Isle, NC. This year the Beach Bike Poker Run will again be raising money for the Semper Fi Fund’s Kid’s Camp. The event will take place on May 19th, 2018. Beginning at the Emerald Club (located at 8102 Emerald Dr, Emerald Isle, NC 28594). Check In/Day of Registration begins at 11:30 am. We will be having a bike decorating contest yet again!
Emerald Isle Run: a 10-mile ride along the bicycle and pedestrian path in Emerald Isle; Fort Macon: a 50-mile roundtrip ride to Fort Macon State Park along Highway 58; Crystal Coast Century: a 100-mile roundtrip to Cape Lookout Lighthouse. Bike the Banks Race Schedule: Cape Lookout (100 miles): 7:30 am Fort Macon (50 miles): 8 am.
Registration starts at 12:30, the ride starts at 2 and ends at 5pm, awards to follow. For a $20 registration fee, you can support the Emerald Isle Parrotheads, once again, support the SFF Kids’ Camp!
