The City of Saint John, N.B., Canada, has been hit by a cyber attack that prompted the City to shut down much of its IT infrastructure. In a Facebook post, the City said that a significant cyber attack has forced the city to shut down the City's website, online payment portals, customer service applications and more.
After an almost six month closure, Casino New Brunswick will finally reopen on September 28th.
The Great Canadian Gaming Corporation says there will be a number of rules that will need to be followed under COVID-19 restrictions.
It will open with a reduced facility guest capacity to approximately 25 per cent.
Face masks will need to be worn, and government-issued ID will also be required when entering.
Plexiglass barriers have been installed throughout the facility where physical distancing isn’t possible.
Table games and food services will not be immediately available.
